A team of 28 experts, comprising biochemists, pharmacists, and beauticians, is responsible for the introduction of new Sothys products at the Soredec laboratory, the research department of the Sothys group.

Sothys is highly innovative and takes into account the latest scientific insights. Each year, the brand launches an average of 35 new product formulas and 15 new make-up products.

Are your products vegan?

Yes, Sothys products are suitable for vegans. Only two raw materials of animal origin are used in our entire range:
» Collagen (INCI: collagen) from by-products of the fishing industry
» Beeswax derivatives (INCO: synthetic beeswax) Currently, there are only 8 formulas that are not vegan!

How do we deal with controversial ingredients?

To minimize the use of certain controversial ingredients, we are constantly looking for alternatives to silicones, phenoxyethanol, sulfates, and BHT for our future formulas.

Do we use synthetic ingredients in our formulas?

Yes, if they are essential for the formula’s composition, such as certain fragrances, anti-aging molecules selected for their efficacy, and sun filters.

How do we ensure that our formulas are well tolerated by the skin?

Before being placed on the market, all formulas undergo numerous tests, including a cell culture assessment, clinical studies under dermatological supervision, and a safety assessment by independent external toxicologists.
